Dependency injection use

Given how ASP.NET MVC pattern influenced this framework, it seems like DI would be supported of the box. Am I missing something?

I looked at the Visual Studio generated WPF project. I guess I could extend the Controller class to add a reference to a DI container and in the App.xaml.cs, I could write code to handle the DI container registrations. Its cool if there's a (strong) opinion baked into this framework against DI containers but I couldn't find any info on this topic one way or the other. Thanks!

You are right in that the setup is very similar and thus adding DI is certainly something we had in mind. However, our thinking is that there are lots of great DI solutions out there already, so we didn't want to reinvent the wheel there and thus we do not have a built-in solution.
