Using bmp & ico files in actions

Markus,

I can see how the DrawingBrush is used with actions (especially menus and toolbars in my case). And I am aware that there is a large # of images (thank you) available as well. However, I have a set of icons and images that I need to retain in order to attempt some semblance of a similar look and feel.

So I would like to be able to use the bmp and ico images I have now. I have tried to figure out how to get them to work but all my attempts so far have failed.

Should I continue to try to figure out how to convert them to DrawingBrush objects? Or is there an easy way to continue to use them within the CODE FW? Only 5 are larger than 5 MB and the largest is only 24kb.

Any suggestions as to how I can best use them would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Fletcher

You can use an ImageBrush wherever WPF expects a brush. Image brushes has a source property which can be used to point it at a bitmap image file.
