The ViewSample project project is working fine but when I try to view the XAML view files, the controls are shown overlapping..
Attaching an image where you can see the Search.xaml file and the issue that I am facing.

Also I am unable to install the framework in VS 2017. Is VS 17 supported?? I cant find it in Tools->Extension.. when I search it..
Any new/updated method to install it.?

Sorry about the late reply. We've stopped monitoring this discussion board, since Codeplex is shutting down.

The display doesn't work because it doesn't know what theme you are using and thus what the styles are. You can use the XAML design time features to bring in a certain resource dictionary for designer support. Most people don't bother, but it is possible.

The framework generally works fine in VS2017, although we are rebuilding the tooling, since VS2017 broke it in incompatible ways. It will hopefully be available soon (and then carry us forward for a while).
